Review Classes
Definition of a Review class:
This course is designed for the student who is still certified
and wants to review the course to continue
certification. Students are expected to understand the
basic concepts of the program material, but may need minimal
support from the instructor. Video demonstrations are
included. Review prices do not reflect pocket mask or
text. Pocket masks are required for the CPR/AED Pro
Review.

Challenge Classes
Challenge sessions are available for all CPR courses on an
appointment basis. Challenge participants must have current certification
and book and be proficient in all skills. A Challenge format is
recommended only if the participant has had more than two consecutive CPR
courses for certification. The advantage of a challenge format is that
it allows the participant to demonstrate skills competency and may take as
little as 30 minutes to renew certification. However, no instruction is
provided. The challenge consists of written exam followed by skills
testing (as long as the written exam has a passing score).
Professional CPR (must also have a pocket mask breathing
barrier or purchase one on site).........Challenge fee: $55
.......... $35 for groups of 3 or more

Pet First Aid
The
American Red Cross and The Humane Society of the United States,
provide assistance and guidance to people whose pets are ill,
injured or in life-threatening situations. The illustrated
book outlines symptoms and procedures for common ailments and
emergencies. This class is taught by Dr. Pam Ogden of the
Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital and is taught at their facility at
4616 Commerce Valley Road, Eau Claire.
Class fee
is $5 and $12.95 for the book. Please call Dr. Ogden's
office at 835-0112 to register.

Registration is First Come, First Serve (maximum
of 16 students) for the course. To register you must
complete all of the following:

Includes book and background check for Wisconsin (out of state
requests must be paid by student). Fee does not include
registration for the Wisconsin Certified Nurses Assistant Exam
(additional $115 paid to Pearson Vue). Exam scheduling
procedure materials distributed during class.
