Automated
External Defibrillators (AEDs)
In response to the many requests we get
for information about AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators),
our Chapter will become a facilitator for AED sales
in the community. We will have three models of the most
popular AED units available for demonstration and will
be prepared to help local businesses order the appropriate
unit and accessories for their facility. We offer AED
training in conjunction with our CPR courses. With a
CPR trained responder and an AED on site, a victim of
a cardiac arrest is 10X more likely to survive sudden
arrest than if they are not available for emergency
response.
